Surface Insulation Characteristics
Unless otherwise specified, cold-rolled magnetic lami-nation steels are supplied with no mill-applied coating. A user-formed oxide (coating Type C-l in Classification A976) can be created at the end of the heat treating cycle and provides adequate insulation for most applications.
