For the purposes of this standard, a product is a marketing model and external components integral to its operation unless that function is achieved by the device (e. g., an external keyboard for a tablet is not integral to the operation of that device). The following external components are considered integral to the operation of products, in accordance with the product definitions in 3. 1: keyboard, mouse or alternate pointing device, external power supply (EPS)， ac or dc power cord, video cables, dc power cord used to connect EPS to device, and stand ( for display and integrated desktop computer).
Different configurations of a product may include options for processors, memory, data storage, etc. If specific configurations do not meet the criteria as declared, then the manufacturer shall clearly identify which configurations do not meet the criteria as declared.
