3.3.11 Damage-Limiting Constructon. Any set of construction elements which will act to limit damage from an explosion, including open structures, pressure relieving construc. tion, or pressure resistant construction. These features can be individual or in combinaion.
3.3.12 Encapsulated. A method of packaging thal consists uf a plastic sheet that completely encloses the sides and top of a pallet load that contains a combustible comnodity or a combustible package or a group of combustible commodities or combusible packages; combustible commodities tha are individually wrapped in plastic sheeting and stored exposed in a pallet load. Totall! noncombusible commodies on wood pal. ies that are enclosed only by a plastic sheet as described are not covered under this definion. Banding (ie. suretchwrapping around only the sides of a pallet load) is not consid. ered to be encapsulation. 3.3.13 Fire Arca. An area of a building separated from the remainder of the building by construction that has a fire- resistance rating of at least 1 hour and that has all communi- cating openings properly protected by an assembly that has a fire protection rating of at least 45 minutes.
