ASME SB210:2004 pdf download SPECIFICATION FOR ALUMINUM AND ALUMINUM- ALLOY DRA WN SEAMLESS TUBES
1Scope
1.1 This specification covers aluminum and aluminum-alloy drawn seamless tubes in straight lengths andcoils for general purpose and pressure applications inalloys (Note 2), tempers, and thicknesses shown in Table2. Coiled tubes are generally available only as roundtubes with a wall thickness not exceeding 0.083 in. andonly in nonheat-treatable alloys.
1.2 Alloy and temper designations are in accordancewith ANSI H35.1.The equivalent Unified NumberingSystem alloy designations are those of Table 1 precededby A9, for example, A91100 for aluminum designation1100 in accordance with Practice E 527.
NOTE 1 — See Specification SB-234 for aluminum-alloy drawn seamless tubes for condensers and heat exchangers; and Specification SB241/SB-241M for aluminum-alloy seamless pipe and seamlessextruded tube.NOTE 2 – Throughout this specification, use of the term alloy in thegeneral sense includes aluminum as well as aluminum alloy.
1.3 A complete metric companion to SpecificationB 210 has been developed Specification B 210M:therefore, no metric equivalents are presented in this specification
14 For acceptance criteria for inclusion ofnew aluminum and aluminum alloys in this specification, seeAnnex A2.
