Requirements for Bases to Receive Portland Cement-Based plaster
Metal plaster bases, lathing accessories, furring accessories and fasteners used to receive plaster shall be installed in conformance with Specification C1063, except as otherwise specified. Non-metallic plaster bases used to receive plaster shall be installed in conformance with Specification C1787.
